Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
When you create an account, contact us, or use our services, we may collect: your full name, email address, phone number, and location. This is used solely to manage your account and process service requests.
Service-Specific Information
For mobile money and financing services: We collect information you voluntarily provide to facilitate transactions. This information is also shared with MTN Uganda and Airtel Uganda as required for service delivery.
Usage Data
We automatically collect basic usage information when you visit the website, including your device type, browser type, pages visited, and time spent. This helps us improve the user experience.
Authentication Data
We use Appwrite Authentication to manage your sign-in securely. Your password is hashed using industry standards and never stored in plain text.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: (a) create and manage your member account; (b) process and track your financing applications and transactions; (c) send you email notifications about your account, orders, and services; (d) improve our website and services; (e) fulfill your requests for mobile money services, financing, or products; (f) contact you about important updates or policy changes.
Sharing Your Information with Service Providers
We are a LOCAL AGENT for major service providers. Your information may be shared with them as follows: • **MTN Mobile Money**: When you use MTN Mobile Money services, your details are shared with MTN Uganda for transaction processing. MTN Uganda has its own privacy policy: www.mtn.co.ug • **Airtel Money**: When you use Airtel Money services, your details are shared with Airtel Uganda for transaction processing. Airtel Uganda has its own privacy policy: www.airtel.ug We do NOT control how these service providers use your data. You are responsible for reviewing their privacy policies.
Email Communications
We use Resend (resend.com) to send transactional and notification emails. You will only receive marketing or broadcast emails if you have opted in. You can manage your email preferences in your account settings at any time. Unsubscribe links are included in all marketing emails.
Data Storage & Third-Party Services
Your data is stored using Appwrite. Data may be processed on servers outside Uganda. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. Your authentication is handled by Appwrite Auth with industry-standard encryption. All communication is encrypted via HTTPS.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We may share your data only in these situations: (a) with MTN Uganda and Airtel Uganda when you use their services as described above; (b) if required by law or court order; (c) to protect our rights or the safety of others; (d) with your explicit written consent.
Security of Your Data
We take the security of your personal data seriously. We use: Appwrite Authentication with industry-standard password hashing; HTTPS encryption for all data in transit; Secure tokens for session management; Regular security audits and updates. However, no system is 100% secure. We will notify you immediately if we discover a data breach.
Your Data Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data: (a) Access — you may request a copy of the data we hold about you; (b) Correction — you may update your profile information; (c) Deletion — you may request deletion of your account and associated data (some data may be retained for legal compliance); (d) Objection — you may object to certain uses of your data; (e) Portability — you may request your data in a portable format. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information, please contact us immediately.

We use minimal cookies and browser storage (localStorage) to maintain your signed-in session and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Session cookies are automatically cleared when you log out or close your browser.
